NE 602 - Vellumoid Vegetable Fiber 505

 

Consists of a cellulose fiber base which has been impregnated with a protein and glycerine binder. Three outstanding properties: Exceptionally good sealing properties. Highly conformable to compensate for distortion in flanges. Chemically indert in the presence of petroleum lubricating oils, automotive gasoline, fuel oils, and many organic solvents. Contains an antimicrobal compound to resist fungus organisms.

NE 603 - Vellumtherm (Beater Addition)

 

Used extensively in automotive applications. Contains a unique blend of ingredients including aramid fiber with a cured nitrile binder. Offers excellent sealing and a high degree of torque retention under flange loads. Surface is specially treated to reduce adhesion to flanges.

NE 604 - Ceramic Paper 550

 

Made from unwashed high purity ceramic fiber. Higher density and binders give performance properties ideal for most refractory type applications. Excellent chemical stability resisting attack from most corrosive agents. Exceptions are hydrofluoric and phosphoric acids and concentrated alkalies. Good dialectic strength.

NE 902 - NBR Carbon Fiber Sheet

 

Manufactured from carbon fibers and graphite, bonded with nitrile rubber. This sheet is very versatile and therefore enables plants to use only one gasket material and avoids the confusion of multiple materials and sheets. Suitable for sealing hot oils, fuels, coolants, solvents, gasses, vater and steam.
