Expert Mechanical Seal Repair | Waterjet Cut | Precision Gasket Cutting
Application
Garlock Gylon® 3500 is truly a superior and unique material. The exclusive properties of Gylon® are combined to deliver its superior performance to comply with today's clean air requirements through sealability and torque retention. Asbestos-free Gylon® gasket materials routinely out-performs all conventional PTFE products by drastically minimizing gasket creep and cold flow problems.
Composition
Garlock Gylon® 3500 is premium grade compressed sheet gasket material that is excellent in strong acids except hydrofluoric, solvents, hydrocarbons, water, steam, chlorine, and cryogenics, Conforms to FDA regulations. For oxygen service, specify "Style 3502 for oxygen service."
Tighter Seal
Improved performance over conventional PTFE. Reduced product loss and emissions.
Reduced creep relaxation
Unique manufacturing process minimizes cold flow problems typical of skived and expanded PTFE sheets.
Reduced creep relaxation
Unique manufacturing process minimizes cold flow problems typical of skived and expanded PTFE sheets.
Chemical resistance
Withstands a wide range of chemical for extended service life in a wide variety of applications.
Cost savings
Cuts operational cost through reduced Fluid Loss, Energy Comsuption, Maintenance Costs, Inventory Costs and Waste.
Largest Sheet Sizes*
Offers some of the largest sheet sizes in the industry. Improved material utilization reduces waste.
Branding and color coding
Easy identification of superior GYLON products. Reduces misapplication and use of unauthorized, inferior substitutes.
